Beautiful University Student Found Dead at Lodging After Meeting Her Ex-Lover

Police in Kenya are investigating the mysterious death of a third-year Moi University student whose body was found after she reportedly met her former boyfriend in Nyamira County.

The deceased, identified as Sheryl Ohanga, had travelled from Eldoret to Nyamira, where investigators say she met her ex-boyfriend before the two checked into a local lodging.

According to preliminary police findings, Sheryl was later found unconscious outside the premises under unclear circumstances. She was rushed to a nearby health facility, but doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the Moi University community, with students, friends and relatives struggling to come to terms with her sudden death.

Detectives have since arrested the former boyfriend as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Police are also questioning staff at the lodging and collecting evidence to establish what transpired before Sheryl was found unconscious.
