    By Aijuka PeterAugust 14, 2025

Speke Resort Munyonyo, one of Uganda’s most famous luxury resorts, has hosted Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, Shri Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head of Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh, India, for a special visit.

The respected spiritual leader’s stay is seen as another highlight in the resort’s long tradition of offering world-class hospitality while also building strong cultural connections.

When Shri Shastri arrived, he was warmly welcomed by businessman Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, Chairman of the Ruparelia Group of Companies.

Speke Resort and Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo is known as the largest and most luxurious resort in Uganda. It combines elegance, comfort, and natural beauty. Guests can choose from Presidential Suites, Cottages, Executive Rooms, and Superior Rooms, all designed to provide stunning views of Lake Victoria and the resort’s green tropical gardens.

The resort has a history of hosting important international events and summits. It is home to the biggest conference facilities in East and Central Africa, which makes it a top choice for government, diplomatic, and corporate meetings.

Visitors enjoy a full luxury experience, with five high-class restaurants, two bars, 19 modern conference halls, and five outdoor event spaces. These facilities make it ideal for weddings, business retreats, and large celebrations.

Shri Shastri’s stay is expected to include cultural exchange, spiritual reflection, and the warm hospitality that has made Speke Resort Munyonyo a leading name in Uganda’s tourism industry.
