OPINION: President Museveni is So Passionate About Uganda and East Africa’s Prosperity

Well, on many occasions, we have interacted with His Execellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tubuhaburwa both physical and online as especially Bazzukulu, (he prefers to address youth these days).

He has always inspired the youth to focus ahead, beyond their tribes, clans, religion or race but focus on how to achieve the East African Community(EAC) Integration first then later Africa can unite and become boarderless!

President Museveni’s passion about East Africa’s community is hinged on the fact that we can stop seeing ourselves as Ugandans but more of East Africans or even Africans as a better way of concuring the world if we united as Africans.

This means, that we will have increased our markets or expanded on trade thus advancing shared prosperity and security for the people of East Africa and Africa atlarge.

Now, this will make trade faster and with the expanded economic muscles that we gain, we can exploit our mineral resources and expand our security capacity and become a super power of sorts.

I am one of those Ugandans who believe that President Museveni wishes the African population well but his vision or even efforts are derailed by some short sighted people with in Uganda and across the region.
We will regret in the future if we don’t seize this moment when he is still available to advance common progressive agenda for our people.

Raisi Museveni has not missed any heads of East African community summit, he participates in all of these summits, even as I write this, he is in Arusha, Tanzania for the 25th Ordinary Summit of heads of State of East African Community, he is a visionary leader whose vision, experience, knowledge and wisdom we must tap into as Ugandans and Africans when we still can.

A very fast forward thinking charismatic and Pan African leader, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, we are proud of you and we will always be.

You give us hope into the future Africa we have always wanted.
