Beautiful Photos Of University Student Who Committed Suicide After Argument With Boyfriend

    By OnionApril 18, 2026

A family is grieving the loss of Mwiche Margaret Kaona, a second year university student whose death has stunned her peers and sparked widespread concern online.

According to a close friend and classmate, Margaret had appeared well and in good spirits shortly before her death. The friend explained that they had sat for an examination together just a day earlier, noting that she showed no visible signs of distress at the time.

Margaret, who was pursuing a law degree at Mulungushi University, was later found dead in circumstances that remain unclear.

Reports indicate that her death may have been linked to personal challenges in her relationship, although this has not been officially confirmed.

Her passing has raised many questions and left those who knew her deeply shaken.

Friends and classmates have described her as a dedicated and passionate young woman who was actively involved in community work.

In a tribute shared online, she was remembered for participating in outreach programmes in Kafue, where she engaged with students and helped raise awareness on issues affecting young people.

The message highlighted her commitment to youth advocacy and noted that her voice and efforts would be greatly missed.

The circulation of a WhatsApp screenshot believed to capture her final moments further intensified emotional reactions on social media.

Many users expressed sympathy for her family, while others used the moment to call for increased attention to student mental health.

The incident has renewed focus on the need for stronger support systems within learning institutions

Stakeholders are urging schools and universities to expand counselling services and provide safe spaces where students can seek help for academic, social, and personal challenges.

Margaret’s death has left her family, friends, and classmates struggling to cope with the loss of a young life that many believed held great promise.
