Zimbabwean-British preacher Uebert Angel Mudzanire has sparked widespread discussion on social media after announcing a paid online course that promises to teach participants how to perform miracles, signs and wonders.
The pastor unveiled the program through a Facebook post accompanied by a promotional flyer encouraging followers to register before available slots were filled.
“Register now and learn how to perform signs, miracles and wonders, online, directly from Prophet Uebert Angel,” the advertisement stated.
According to the announcement, the three-day online training was scheduled to take place from June 5 to June 7, 2026. Participants were required to pay £999, which is equivalent to approximately UGX 5 million based on current exchange rates.
Interested individuals were directed to register through a link provided on the pastor’s church website.
Uebert Angel, who has been recognized among the world’s most prominent pastors, defended the initiative by encouraging those interested in the course to enroll through his official platform.
However, the announcement quickly generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users questioning the decision to charge money for teachings related to spiritual gifts and miraculous works.
While some supporters viewed the course as a form of specialized ministry training, critics argued that miracles and spiritual gifts should not be commercialized.
The debate continues to attract attention across various social media platforms, with opinions sharply divided over the controversial program.
