Woman Leaves Her Marriage After Claims That Husband Never Touched Her from Monday to Thursday

    By OnionApril 29, 2026

A newly married man is seeking answers and compensation after his marriage collapsed just seven days after the wedding, following a series of shocking revelations and disputes.

Elijah Fundi had entered the union with high hopes, believing he had found a compatible partner in Violet. According to his account, their relationship was grounded in shared Christian values.

The couple reportedly fasted and prayed together before deciding to marry, convinced their union had divine approval.

However, cracks began to emerge even before the wedding. Elijah claimed that Violet withheld important details about her past, including a previous marriage. Despite this, he chose to proceed, trusting her faith and commitment.

Tensions escalated during the wedding preparations. Elijah alleged that disagreements arose over finances and lifestyle choices.

Violet reportedly resisted certain plans, including attire and salon arrangements, forcing both families to step in and reach a compromise.

The situation worsened shortly after the wedding. Elijah said his wife abruptly left their home, citing dissatisfaction with his financial status.

He recalled her telling him she could not live with someone she considered unable to provide adequately.

On the other hand, Violet’s family offered a different explanation. Her sister, Johari, claimed that Violet complained about a lack of intimacy in the marriage. She allegedly stated that Elijah had not been physically involved with her for several days, which contributed to her decision to leave.

The fallout has now turned into a financial dispute. Elijah is demanding a refund of the dowry and wedding expenses, which he estimates at KSh 700,000. He said he sold personal belongings, including his motorbike and electronics, to raise the funds.

Family members from both sides admitted that the wedding had placed a heavy financial burden on them, making the breakup even more difficult.

The story has sparked widespread public debate, with many questioning the decisions made by both the couple and their families.
