A video circulating widely across Northern Uganda has drawn intense attention after capturing a dramatic dispute between a woman and a man over payment following an alleged encounter.
The footage, which began spreading early Tuesday, shows the woman confronting the man inside a room, accusing him of refusing to pay for services she claims to have provided. The situation quickly turned heated as both exchanged words in Luo, suggesting ties to the Acholi community, particularly around Gulu City.
As the argument escalated, the woman took an unusual step to press her demand. She repeatedly struck her own body while insisting that the man had already “used” her and therefore owed her money. The act shocked many viewers and added to the intensity of the already tense confrontation.
At one point, she held onto the man’s clothing, refusing to return it until he paid what she believed she was owed. The man’s identity remains unclear, and no official statement has been released regarding the incident.
The video has since triggered widespread debate online, with many questioning the circumstances behind the dispute and others expressing concern over the public nature of the confrontation. Despite the viral attention, those involved have not been formally identified, leaving much of the situation unresolved.
