S.2 Dropout Pretty Nicole Shocks Nation as She Lands a TV Presenting Job

    By Aijuka PeterAugust 19, 2025
    Pretty Nicole

Ugandan social media personality Pretty Nicole has taken on a new role at Busoga’s Baba TV.

Reports over the weekend showed the teenager presenting a celebrity gossip program on the station. This appearance surprised many viewers, since Nicole is best known for her online popularity and not for work in television.

Neither Nicole nor Baba TV has officially confirmed her employment, and details of her contract are still unclear.

The development was first shared by fellow presenter Chicken Chicken, who also works at the station on The Gist show alongside Sheila Price. He said he was not aware of how Nicole joined and expressed concern about possible overlap with their program.

“When I listened to her show, she was also doing gossip, which is what we already do. We cannot both present the same content,” Chicken Chicken said.

The news has drawn mixed reactions online. Some social media users pointed out that Nicole reportedly left secondary school earlier this year while in senior two, raising questions about her qualifications. Others welcomed the move and congratulated her on the new opportunity.

Before her television role, Nicole mainly worked as a brand ambassador for fashion and beauty products, often collaborating with small businesses.

At the moment, it is not clear whether she will continue permanently with Baba TV, but her entry into broadcasting has already generated wide discussion among Ugandans.
