Boda Boda Cyclist Found Dead After Months Missing, Body Reduced to Skeletal Remains

    By OnionJune 12, 2026

A boda boda cyclist has been found dead months after he was reported missing in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

According to reports, the cyclist is believed to have been killed by individuals suspected of stealing motorcycles. He reportedly disappeared while carrying out his daily work, leaving family members, friends, and fellow riders searching for answers.

Despite efforts to trace his whereabouts, no information emerged for a long period. The search came to a tragic end when human remains believed to be his were discovered in a secluded area.

Reports indicate that the body had decomposed significantly by the time it was found, with only skeletal remains left. The discovery has shocked the local community and sparked an outpouring of grief among fellow boda boda riders.

Authorities have not yet released detailed information about the case or announced any arrests linked to the killing. Investigations are expected to continue as police work to establish the circumstances surrounding the rider’s death and identify those responsible.

The incident has renewed concerns about the safety of boda boda cyclists, many of whom face risks of robbery and violence while carrying out their work.
